PRAYER NEEDS We were created by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to commune with God. The highest privilege we have on earth is to communicate with a Holy God. Talk to Him and experience Him talking back to us. Requirement? Our hearts have to be clean before Him. He speaks to us in many ways. Some hear Him audibly. Some hear Him by a thought that gets planted in their heart, like a seed, that then begins to grow into something in the spirit realm, like a plant does in the natural realm. He comes to some of us in dreams and and visions; where the pictures are introduced to our minds; and likewise become planted in our hearts. They to then may begin the growth process. David, was known as a man after God's own heart. He was willing to seek God's answer; until he received the LORD'S mind and strategy for obtaining his request. That is the substance of what true Biblical Faith is. True Biblical Grace is God providing a righteous way for us to go constantly. Again that is, if we keep ourselves clean from the world's ways. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word (Rhema) of God." (Hebrews 11:1) James, the half brother of Yehshua, wrote to the twelve tribes of Israel, who were then and still are scattered like seeds abroad. James wrote this letter some years after the ascension of Yehshua: James 5:14-16 NASB Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; (15) and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. (16) Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. Notice the wording in verse (15) "the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick." It does not say it may, nor it might, it says it will! So what is the problem? Notice also, who will have the faith needed to cause the one sick to be restored? The answer is not the one sick, nor an elder, but the faith that does the work will come through the elders (plural). No matter how many elders there are to pray, the faith to restore the man resides in the one that is residing with the elders: the Lord Yehshua Ha Maschiach himself. What He relays to the elders, will give the elders the word of faith that will restore the one that is sick. Matthew 18:19-20 NASB "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. (20) "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."
