
Keeping The Sabbath
In Pharisaic or Rabbinical Judaism there are some one thousand
five hundred various
law interpretations
concerning what
one can do
and what one is not supposed to do
on what is known as
Shabbat or the
Sabbath. However if
one searches out the actual
Scriptures, they come up only with the following:
Remember the Sabbath to keep it Holy (Fourth Commandment)
Torah Verses:
Exodus. 20:8-11; 31:13-17: Deuteronomy 5:12-15; Ex 20:20.
Israel is to keep the Sabbath as a day of rest. It's to
be a perpetual
commandment
forever.

1. Do no work on the Sabbath

5:14; Nehemiah.13:15-22; Jererimiah.17:22
2. Not to seek ones own pleasure on Sabbath
Isaiah 58:13-14
3. No buying or selling on the Sabbath
Nehemiah 10:31; 13:15-22; Jeremiah. 17:19-27
4. No purchase of food on the Sabbath
Nehemiah. 10:31; 13:15-22 If one becomes hungry one may eat of
the field. Deuteronomy. 23:25
5. No cooking to be done on the Sabbath
Exodus. 16:23; 35:3
6. Live stock to rest on the Sabbath
Exodus 20:10; Deuteronomy 5:14
The penalty for not observing the
Sabbath is death
Numbers 15:32-36
For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the
knowledge
of the truth, there
no longer
remains a sacrifice for sins,
but a terrifying expectation
of judgment and
Heb 10:26-29 NASB
THE FURY OF A
FIRE WHICH WILL
CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.
Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses
dies
without mercy on the
testimony
of two or deserve who has
trampled
under foot the Son of God, and has
regarded as unclean the blood of the
covenant by
which he was
sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
